(Formerly Avionics Architecture Description Language)
AADL is an architecture description language (ADL) aimed to embedded real-time systems. Its standardisation at an international level is in progress, under the authority of the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers). A first stable version, AADL 1.0, has been issued in November 2004.
Axlog has developed a strong expertise of AADL through several studies and tool developments, and promotes this language to improve the software and system engineering processes. Axlog is member of the AADL standardisation committee.
These web pages present the AADL language, ADeS, the simulation tool developed by Axlog, and gives additional information to go further in the discovery of this language, more and more considered by industry.
